Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and creative Year 3 Class Teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a Year 3 class, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs who are passionate about engaging young learners through a broad and balanced curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom where pupils are motivated to learn and achieve.
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and tailor teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to planning, moderation, and curriculum development within the year group and wider school.
Uphold high expectations of behaviour and promote positive classroom routines.
