Year 3 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) in Halifax, West Yorkshire
Are you an enthusiastic and committed teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and friendly school? We are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover contract, starting in mid-September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-behaved, eager-to-learn class in a school that values teamwork, creativity, and high standards for all children.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons to a mixed-ability Year 3 class. Working closely with an experienced KS2 team and supportive senior leaders, you will be encouraged to bring your passion for learning and creativity into the classroom while following our well-established curriculum and routines.
We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (or ECTs due to qualify this summer)
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 3
A reflective and proactive practitioner with high expectations for all pupils
Someone with excellent classroom management and communication skills
