Teaching Assistant - Year 3 (Maternity Cover)
📍 Location - NG11
🕒 Full-Time | 📅 Start Date: Sept 2025 | 📅 Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
We are supporting a Primary Academy that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This is a full-time, fixed-term role where you will play a vital part in supporting our pupils' learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
We are looking for someone who:
Is an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 3)
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
Excellent classroom management skills.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to their education.
Ability to adapt to different school environments and work effectively as part of a team.
