About the Role:
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the KS2 curriculum. You will provide in-class support, work with small groups, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment where all children can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
Provide one-to-one and small group support in literacy and numeracy.
Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
Assist with preparing classroom resources and activities.
Support pupils' social and emotional development.
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working in a primary school, ideally within KS2.
A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
