Year 3 General Classroom Teaching Assistant Mainstream Primary School
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for General Classroom Teaching Assistants to work within mainstream primary school in Selly Oak.
Location: Selly Oak
Position: Year 3 General Classroom Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30 am 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Type of Work: General classroom support within a mainstream primary school
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Long-term
Full Time/Part Time: Full time
Minimum Rate of Pay: Negotiable
About the Role:
These roles involve working closely with Year 3 class teacher to support the learning and development of pupils . You will assist in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-to-one or small-group support where needed, and promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils learning under the guidance of the class teacher
Deliver targeted interventions and support classroom activities
Help prepare learning materials and maintain an organised classroom
Assist with behaviour management and emotional support
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentIdeal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting children in a school or educational setting - KS2 experience desirable
A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach to learning
Good communication and teamwork skills
A calm, patient, and encouraging manner
A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) is desirableRequirements to Work with Prospero Teaching:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold a valid, enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
Provide two child-related professional references covering the last two yearsTo Apply:
