The Role - Year 4 Class Teacher
You will be joining a friendly and collaborative KS2 team as the full-time teacher of a delightful Year 4 class of just 24 pupils. Planning is shared across the year group and is well-supported by experienced phase leaders, ensuring a healthy work-life balance and opportunities for innovation in the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with school values and national expectations
Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom where pupils feel safe, engaged, and confident
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and SENCO to support all learners
Contributing to the creative and cultural life of the school
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from experienced KS2 teachers looking for a new challenge or ambitious ECTs seeking their first teaching role in a highly supportive setting. To succeed in this role, you should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligibility to work in the UK
Recent experience teaching in KS2 (preferably Year 4 or close)
A commitment to inclusion, child-centred learning, and high aspirations
