About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and capable Year 5 Teacher who is ready to take on middle leadership responsibilities from September 2025. This is a temp-to-perm position with clear progression pathways for the right candidate.
The specific middle leadership area (e.g. subject lead, phase lead, curriculum development) will be aligned to your strengths and school needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach a Year 5 class, delivering engaging, well-planned lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
*
Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and accelerate progress
*
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes independence and confidence
*
Lead or support a key area of school development (e.g. subject leadership, curriculum planning, or pastoral support)
*
Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards across Key Stage 2
*
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support learning and well-being
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5 or upper KS2
*
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective assessment practices
*
Demonstrated leadership potential or existing middle leadership experience
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
A team player committed to whole-school improvement and personal development
