We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team at a small, community-focused primary school in Harrow. Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
*
A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
*
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
*
A commitment to high expectations for all pupils and a belief in their potential
*
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
*
Clear and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and pupils
Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver and assess engaging and differentiated lessons for a Year 5 class
*
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, valued and motivated
*
Work closely with the parallel class teacher and year group team to plan and moderate
*
Contribute to school life through staff meetings, events and collaborative planning
*
Monitor and support pupil progress, ensuring that all learners are challenged and supported
*
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing
