Year 5 PPA Cover Teacher – Liverpool
Location: L11, Liverpool
Start Date: September 2025
Are you a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys a varied timetable? A welcoming primary school in Liverpool is looking for a PPA Cover Teacher with a focus on Year 5 to join their team from September.
This role is perfect for a qualified teacher who thrives on flexibility and loves delivering engaging lessons without the pressure of long-term planning.
The Role:
Covering PPA time across Year 5 (with occasional support in other KS2 classes)
Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum
Supporting pupil progress, engagement and behaviour management
Working closely with class teachers and the wider KS2 team
No full-time planning responsibilities required
You Will Need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably in Year 5)
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
