Job Description
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and thriving primary school? We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join our two-form entry school in Rugby to cover a maternity leave until August 2025.

About the Role
This is a full-time teaching position with full class responsibilities. You will be teaching a well-behaved and motivated Year 5 class, working closely with the parallel class teacher and wider Key Stage 2 team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge, and support all pupils to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for someone who:
Has recent and relevant KS2 teaching experience (Year 5 or similar preferred)
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Is fully committed to the school community and wider school life
Can plan, deliver, and assess effectively in line with the National Curriculum
Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
Brings enthusiasm, resilience, and a passion for helping children succeed
