The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join the KS2 team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching, committed to raising standards, and skilled at building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum
*
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, ensuring that all learners are supported and challenged
*
Establish a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
*
Work collaboratively with the KS2 team to share ideas and contribute to whole-school development
*
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing
*
Contribute to school life through participation in events, activities, and wider opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs are welcome to apply!
*
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
*
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum
*
Inspire pupils through creativity, high expectations, and a commitment to inclusion
*
Be reflective, proactive, and eager to grow professionally
*
Work effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive team
