What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and experienced Year 5 Teacher who is committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Demonstrable experience teaching Key Stage 2, with specific experience in Year 5 being highly desirable.
A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Year 5.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging, and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
Excellent classroom management skills that foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher:
As a Year 5 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering creative, inspiring, and effective lessons that adhere to national curriculum standards for Year 5.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
Effectively managing classroom behaviour to ensure a productive and safe atmosphere.
Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development.
Collaborating seamlessly with colleagues, including teaching assistants and other school staff, to maintain continuity and consistent teaching approaches.
Adapting teaching strategies to meet the varied needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Engaging with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.
