Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (1 term minimum - potential to extend for full academic year)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Morecambe. This is a full-time role covering a long term absence, beginning in September 2025 and lasting for at least one term, with the possibility of being extended to the end of the academic year.
We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching journey in a supportive setting, and from experienced teachers seeking a new challenge in Upper Key Stage 2.

The Successful Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2025
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5 or Upper KS2
Be confident in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
Have high expectations for behaviour and learning
Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Be committed to contributing to the wider life of the school
