The Role - Year 5 Teacher
As the school's new Year 5 Teacher, you will:
Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Provide emotional and pastoral support while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries.
Create a classroom environment that balances high expectations with a nurturing ethos.
Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and parents to support pupils' individual needs.
Contribute to the wider school community, sharing the school's values of respect, resilience, and care.
The School is Looking for a Year 5 Teacher Who:
Has proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred).
Is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
Can deliver high-quality lessons while recognising the importance of emotional wellbeing.
Is resilient, adaptable, and proactive in their approach.
Is not an ECT - this role requires a teacher with experience in challenging settings.
