Your Role
As our new Year 5 Teacher, you will:
✅ Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
✅ Support children as they build key knowledge and skills in preparation for Year 6.
✅ Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, respectful, and focused on high expectations.
✅ Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
✅ Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic development.
✅ Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and cross-curricular projects.
✅ Work collaboratively with the other Year 5 Teacher and the Key Stage 2 team to maintain consistent, excellent provision.
What We’re Looking For
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
✔ Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5.
✔ Strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment requirements.
✔ A creative, reflective, and child-centred teaching style.
✔ Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
✔ A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding.
