Are you a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher looking for a new opportunity from Easter 2026?

Are you an experienced Year 5 Teacher or a primary teacher confident in delivering the curriculum to a high standard?

If so, this Year 5 Teacher role could be ideal for you. A well-regarded primary school in Reading is seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 team from Easter 2026. In this position, the Year 5 Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, following the KS2 National Curriculum, and ensuring every pupil makes strong progress.

There is also the opportunity for the successful Year 5 Teacher to take on additional responsibilities, including a TLR.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a proven track record as a primary school teacher
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Show enthusiasm and commitment to supporting all pupils
Be interested in additional responsibilities (optional TLR available)The school benefits from excellent public transport links and also offers on-site parking. As a two-form entry school, staff benefit from shared planning and marking, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
