The Role – Year 5 Teaching Assistant
As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging and creative lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils. Your duties will include supporting learning activities in phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy, as well as providing targeted support to children who require additional help, including those with SEND. You will also play an important part in encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Key Stage 2 children, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, caring attitude towards learning support.
