A forward-thinking primary school in Reading is seeking a committed Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role in a supportive and inclusive school community that values academic achievement and pupil wellbeing.
What you'll be doing:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned to the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Preparing pupils for end-of-year SATs with targeted support and interventions
Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to support pupil outcomesWhat we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
High expectations for behaviour, learning, and progress
