Year 6 Class Teacher - Darwen Primary School
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time | Fixed-Term or Temp-to-Perm
Location: Darwen (BB3 area)
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Are you a confident and experienced upper Key Stage 2 teacher ready to lead a Year 6 class through their final year of primary school? A supportive and forward-thinking school in Darwen is seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join their team and help pupils thrive academically and emotionally.
About the Role:
Full-time teaching role in a well-established Year 6 class
Focus on SATs preparation, transition to secondary, and pupil wellbeing
Collaborative planning with experienced KS2 colleagues
Strong support from SLT and pastoral team
We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
Proven experience in upper KS2, ideally Year 6
Strong understanding of assessment frameworks and SATs
Ability to motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities
A calm, resilient, and reflective practitioner
