Job Description
An outstanding and well-respected two-form entry primary school in Cambridge is seeking a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their dedicated Key Stage 2 team from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to support pupils at a crucial stage as they prepare for their transition to secondary school and consolidate their learning.

The Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver inspiring and challenging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum

Prepare pupils thoroughly for their transition to secondary school and end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments

Use assessment effectively to monitor pupil progress and tailor teaching
*
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
*
Collaborate closely with your year group partner and colleagues across the school to maintain high standards

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support learning and development
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
*
A deep understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and statutory assessment requirements
*
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*
A creative, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

Commitment to inclusion and ensuring all pupils achieve their potential
