Year 6 Teacher – Blackburn, Lancashire Starting December 2025 – Maternity Cover (until the end of the academic year) Vision for Education is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Blackburn, Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to become part of a collaborative and supportive team, making a real difference in the lives of pupils. The Role A Year 6 Teacher is required to start in December 2025, covering maternity leave for the remainder of the academic year. The successful candidate will join a two-form entry team, taking responsibility for a Year 6 class and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school. As a Year 6 Teacher in Blackburn, Lancashire, the successful applicant will work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver a rich, creative curriculum that inspires and challenges every learner. The role will also include leading an area of the curriculum or an aspect of school life, contributing to the continued journey of excellence across the school.
