Year 6 Teacher – Full Time

About the Role

You will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, guiding pupils through this important stage of their primary education. Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Preparing pupils for SATs assessments with confidence and care

Creating a positive, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively

Providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents

Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Contributing to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment expectations

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

A warm, approachable, and professional manner

Commitment to high standards and pupil achievement
