Year 6 Teacher - Northampton
Key Stage 2 | Full-Time | September Start
Are you an experienced KS2 teacher confident in delivering the Year 6 curriculum? A supportive primary school in Northampton is looking for a strong Year 6 teacher to join their team from September.
This role is ideal for someone with solid SATs experience who can help prepare pupils for a smooth transition to secondary school.
What the role involves:
Leading a Year 6 class with a focus on core subject progress
Preparing pupils for SATs with targeted teaching and revision strategies
Supporting academic and emotional readiness for secondary school
Working closely with the SLT to monitor progress and outcomes
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong experience teaching Year 6, ideally with proven SATs success
Confident in delivering targeted lessons in Maths, Reading & GPS
A calm, consistent approach with excellent classroom management
