Teach the full KS2 curriculum, preparing pupils for SATs and a smooth transition to secondary school
Plan engaging and challenging lessons with the support of a collaborative year group team
Use assessment effectively to track, support, and celebrate pupil progress
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, trips, and enrichment activitiesYear 6 Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 6)
Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills
