MUST BE A DRIVER WITH OWN CAR Job title: Child Residential Support worker Location: Barkestone - Le - Vale Pay rate: TBC Start Date: As Soon As Possible Working Hours: 20:00 - 08:00 Contract Type: Permanent Are you a dedicated and compassionate support worker with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! My Client committed to providing the highest quality care and support to children and young people with challenging behaviour, ADHD, support individual coming from a traumatic background. As an experienced Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life supporting them with their day to day, providing children and young people with a caring nature of attitude, managing behaviours, developing their self - esteem and ensuring their safety is paramount. Role: - Supporting the service as night, supporting to the children and young people bed time routine - Communicating effectively with the team and young people - Supporting with personal care with individuals where required and promoting independence. - Following Risk Assessments and Management Procedures - Reporting to management team - Understanding what the needs of each individual children and young people are - Competent with IT systems for any note taking - Carrying out domestic duties of the home - Consulting with children young people and their families What we'll need from you: - Helping vulnerable individuals engage in their planned activities - Good written and verbal English communication skills - Commitment to undertake necessary further training - A genuine desire to help people with a compassionate nature - Must have a Level 3 in Residential Child Care qualification or willing to work towards it. - A minimum of 6 months of experience working children's residential setting - Must have UK driving License and own car - Level 3 Diploma: Residential Childcare (or equivalent) If you think this role would be perfect for you why wait get in touch today for an immediate start.
