What We're Looking For: A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience as a social worker, with significant experience in youth justice or related fields (e.g., child protection, looked after children, probation). Current and valid Social Work England registration. Proven ability to undertake complex assessments, develop effective intervention plans, and manage risk with young offenders. Strong understanding of the youth justice system, relevant legislation, and principles of restorative justice. Excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people, families, and multi-agency partners. Ability to guide and mentor less experienced colleagues.
