We're looking for a Youth Mental Health Support Worker to join a caring and dedicated team, providing vital emotional and practical support to children and young people facing social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

Key Responsibilities
As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for young people with mental health and emotional needs.
Help students develop emotional regulation, confidence, and positive coping skills.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
Encourage engagement in learning and social activities.
Support the creation of a safe, nurturing environment that promotes wellbeing and inclusion.
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Experience supporting children or young people with mental health, behavioural, or emotional needs (school, youth work, care, or community setting).
A calm, compassionate, and patient approach.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people.(Relevant qualifications in psychology, counselling, mental health, youth work, or education are desirable but not essential.)
