The Youth Mental Health Worker Role:
Support pupils aged 4-16 with their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.
Help children regulate emotions and de-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Teach and encourage functional life skills to promote independence and self-confidence.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver individualised care.
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.Attitudes:
Experience working with children or young people.
Safeguarding knowledge/training (or willingness to complete).
A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
