Youth Mentor - Wandsworth – ASAP Start – £80-£120 Per day (Depedent on experience) – Full time – PRU
* Youth Mentor required to work in Wandsworth
* Youth Mentor required to start ASAP
* Youth Mentor required to work full-time in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
* Youth Mentor required to support students with Autism and complex behavioural needs
* Youth Mentor -Must have an Enhanced DBS registered to the DBS Update Service

The Role - Youth Mentor
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and emotionally intelligent Youth Mentor to support students aged 11–16 who have been referred to a PRU due to behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties. Many of the students have diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or SEMH needs, and may present challenging behaviour. Your role will involve building strong, trusting relationships, helping students regulate their emotions, and encouraging positive engagement with learning. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to create a safe and structured environment that promotes growth and resilience.
The PRU - Youth Mentor
Located in Wandsworth, this PRU provides tailored education and support for students who are temporarily or permanently unable to attend mainstream school. The setting is highly focused on re-engagement, emotional development, and preparing students for reintegration or transition to specialist provisions. Staff are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, with a strong emphasis on restorative practice and trauma-informed approaches.
