About the Role Vision for Education are working alongside a friendly and well-established school in South Tyneside to recruit for a Youth Offending Officer to work with their students who have behavioural issues. This could be a full time supply role, starting in September for the right candidate. Looking for September work? Start the clearance process now to give yourself the best chance of landing a role in time for the new academic year.  As a Youth Offending Officer you will need to have strong knowledge of the challenges young people face, excellent communication skills and not be afraid to get stuck in to a vibrant classroom. You will be working alongside the teacher to manage behaviour, enrich young people through various educational methods, and build strong and lasting relationships with amazing young people.   If you have previous experience with SEND or in Care Work then this role would be ideal for you. All our Youth Offending Officer candidates will be required to have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.  Know someone who works with Vision already?
