Job Description

We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated Youth Support Worker to join our school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people by supporting their wellbeing, personal growth, and success in school. About the Role: Work closely with pupils to provide support for their social, emotional and mental wellbeing. Build positive, trusted relationships with children and young people. Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions to encourage resilience, confidence and positive behaviour. Support staff in creating a nurturing, inclusive school environment. Be a key point of contact for pupils who may need extra encouragement and guidance. We are particularly keen to hear from people with: Experience in youth work, child counselling, or working with children in educational or community settings. Backgrounds in sports coaching or child psychology, using these skills to inspire and motivate young people. Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
