Youth Support Worker
Location: Cardiff
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (School Hours, Term Time Only)
Pay: £89.38 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time | Starting in September
We’re seeking Youth Support Workers to work in a specialist school setting in Cardiff, supporting young people aged 11–16 with challenging behaviour, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), and ALN (Additional Learning Needs).

Job Role Includes:
1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and ALN
Supporting teachers with classroom management and engagement strategies
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Helping students build confidence, life skills, and social interaction
Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
✅ Who We’re Looking For:

Teaching Assistant / Learning Support roles
Youth Work / Residential Care
Sports Coaching / Mentoring / Volunteer Youth Programmes
Or simply a passion for working with children and young people
