Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established 4-form entry Primary School in Thornton Heath, Croydon, based on its Infant and Nursery site. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership team, and commitment to providing every child with a rich and engaging education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and motivated to achieve.
* Assess, track, and record pupil progress effectively, using data to inform planning.
* Work collaboratively with year group partners and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality teaching.
* Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience desirable).
* Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive, nurturing approach.
* Excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
