Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
 Location: Corby and Kettering
 Pay Rate: Competitve pay rates.

We’re looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in Corby and Kettering , working closely with a child who needs tailored guidance, consistency, and encouragement to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing individualised support to a student with special educational needs during lessons and daily routines.

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement and adapt learning strategies.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

Helping to promote the child’s social, emotional, and academic development.

Celebrating small wins—because every step forward matters!

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 or small-group setting (desirable but not essential).

A calm, caring, and consistent approach, with excellent communication skills.

A passion for inclusive education and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Resilience and adaptability to meet a child’s changing needs throughout the school day.

A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
