ABC Teachers is looking for a passionate and reliable 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a SEN School in Birmingham. Role Overview: Responsibilities: Providing excellent personalized support to a pupil with special educational needs, and to help develop in different areas, academic, social, and emotional development. A nurturing and inclusive environment to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals to make a difference in young people’s lives. Tasks: Offering one-on-one care, assisting in academic tasks, social interactions, and behaviour management as and when required. The successful candidate will ensure every pupil feels valued and supported. Transitions: Assisting students during transitions between different routines during the school day whilst maintaining a positive and comfortable experience. Requirements  As a suitable 1-1 Teaching Assistant you will: Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce. Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities. Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners. Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
