Job Description

Integra Education are seeking a creative, patient, and engaging individual to support a pupil through an EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) package. This role focuses on developing the pupil’s interest in design and technology through hands-on use of a 3D printer.

The successful candidate will support the pupil in designing and creating their own 3D printed projects, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking. The role is based in a farm setting, providing a unique and flexible learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the pupil in designing and creating 3D models using appropriate software

Facilitate the safe and effective use of on-site 3D printing equipment

Encourage creativity and exploration through hands-on design projects

Adapt tasks and approaches to suit the pupil’s individual learning needs

Work alongside a qualified teacher to support overall learning outcomes

Build a positive, trusting relationship to promote engagement and confidence

Candidate Requirements:

Experience using 3D printers and relevant design software (e.g. CAD programs)

A creative and adaptable approach to learning

Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships

Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff

Comfortable working in an outdoor, farm-based environment

Desirable:

Experience in EOTAS or alternative provision settings

Experience supporting pupils with additional needs 

Background in design, engineering, or creative technology
