Job Description

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Rochester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.
This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are sofa's, beds, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc.
Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.
The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this.
Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day.
The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved.
Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 8-11 hours.
Pay rate - £18.59 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. There is an overtime rate of £22.95 per hour.
Our client will happily accept newly qualified drivers.
Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at assessment.
You must have a valid UK License, CPC and Digitacho, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.
The right candidate will be:
  * Reliable and organized
  * Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service
  * Be fit and healthy and able to lift heavy goods
  * Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
