Account Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £35,000 per annum + Bonuses
We are looking for an Account Manager with experience in the electrical wholesale sector to join our client’s Nottingham branch. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys developing customer relationships and supporting day-to-day branch operations within a professional trade environment.
Duties of an Account Manager
You will be part of the branch’s commercial team and will contribute to both customer service and business growth. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of trade customers and building long-term relationships
Reconnecting with dormant accounts and identifying new opportunities
Responding to customer queries and offering product guidance
Preparing quotations and processing orders using internal systems
Sourcing products, including non-stock or specialist items
Participating in training sessions and development activities
Providing support on the trade counter when required
Skills and Experience of an Account Manager
You will need:
Electrical Wholesale experience
Background in customer-facing roles such as account management or internal sales
It would be beneficial if you also have:
Good understanding of electrical product ranges
Strong communication and organisation skills
Experience developing and maintaining customer accounts
