Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Hull – Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days working from home)
Salary: £35,000 basic + commission (OTE £45,000)
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexibility required)
Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate start following successful interview process

Sutton Recruitment are looking for the region’s best Account Manager to join a growing and fast-paced business providing specialist market intelligence and data solutions.

This is a role not to miss for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing accounts, and driving revenue growth through renewals and upselling.

You will manage a portfolio of existing clients, proactively identifying opportunities for growth, negotiating renewals, and ensuring excellent service throughout the account lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and renew existing client accounts and subscription contracts
Build strong relationships with both new and existing clients
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to maximise client value
Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and solutions
Prepare and present accurate quotations for subscription packages
Manage the full renewal process from negotiation through to invoicing
Maintain accurate CRM records and track account performance and retention
Drive revenue growth, client retention, and deliver excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in sales, account management or business development
Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, results-driven approach
What’s on Offer

£35,000 basic salary
Uncapped commission – OTE £45,000
