Holt Engineering is on the lookout for a Senior Account Manager to join a UK-based electronics manufacturing business.
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll act as the key interface between the business and its customers—ensuring projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and relationships continue to grow.
You’ll be working cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, and production teams, ensuring customer requirements are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
This Senior Account Manager role is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per hour
Fridays are working from home
Paying £40,000-£45,000, depending on your experience
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts, including site visits where required
Produce and maintain delivery and production plans aligned to customer demand
Oversee repeat orders and contract reviews to ensure capacity, materials, and engineering requirements are met
Work closely with Purchasing to ensure timely material availability
Support engineering teams during peak periods, including BOM checks and MRP updates
Expedite and resolve issues that may impact delivery or customer commitments
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and promote additional services
Prepare and negotiate quotations with key customers
Liaise with internal departments to resolve technical or operational challenges You
Proven experience in Account Management or Customer Service within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills
Confident in presenting data and building relationships with customers
Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointDesirable (but not essential)
Experience within a CEM (Contract Electronics Manufacturing) environment
Knowledge of electronics production processes
Experience using MRP system's Apply?
