Manchester

£35,000+ Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefit

We’re working with a successful managed IT services and solutions business that is looking to strengthen its sales team with an ambitious Account Manager. The company provides a broad range of IT solutions, including IT support, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, software, hardware and professional services.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven Account Manager to take ownership of existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow and develop accounts.

You’ll work closely with clients to understand their technology requirements, build long-term partnerships and position the right IT solutions to support their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing B2B customers
Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers
Identify and generate new sales opportunities within existing accounts
Upsell and cross-sell managed IT services, hardware, software and technology solutions
Understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions
Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity through to close
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
Work closely with technical and professional services teams to deliver the right solutionsAbout You

We’re looking for someone with:

Previous B2B IT sales or account management experience
Experience within an MSP, VAR, IT reseller or technology solutions environment
A strong understanding of IT services and business technology
A proven track record of achieving sales targets
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A consultative approach to sales
Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills
A motivated, ambitious and results-driven attitude
Experience across areas such as managed services, cybersecurity, Microsoft, cloud, infrastructure, hardware or software would be highly advantageous.What’s on Offer?
