Job Description

Anderson Knight Recruitment is working with a growing accountancy team to recruit an Accountant to support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting for a diverse client base.

About the Role
Following continued growth and the onboarding of new clients, our client is looking to strengthen their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and professional working environment. As an Accountant, you will typically manage 3–4 clients directly, so confidence in client-facing situations and strong interpersonal skills are important.

Key Responsibilities

  * Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting

  * Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, including management account packs

  * Produce standalone and consolidated financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS (experience desirable but not essential)

  * Complete bank reconciliations and full trial balance work

  * Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns

  * Perform financial analysis and support investor reporting

  * Assist with NAV calculations and due diligence for acquisitions or disposals

  * Identify and suggest improvements to processes, supporting implementation with senior management

About You

  * Part-qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA) is preferred; experienced, qualified candidates are also welcome

  * Experience preparing management accounts, VAT/CIS returns, and trial balances

  * Exposure to financial statement preparation under FRS 102/IFRS is an advantage

  * Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

  * Confident in client-facing situations, professional and articulate

  * Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
