Assistant Client Accountant

Glasgow (Hybrid Working)

The Opportunity

A well-established and highly regarded property consultancy is looking to bring in an Assistant Client Accountant to support a growing portfolio.

This is a great opportunity for someone with finance or property accounting experience to step into a role where you’ll get exposure to a varied client base, structured support, and clear progression.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team with a strong reputation in the market and a consistent pipeline of work.

The Role

Working closely with senior members of the team, you’ll support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting across a portfolio of commercial properties.

Key responsibilities include:

  * Assisting with service charge accounts preparation

  * Supporting the production of monthly and quarterly reports

  * Managing supplier payments and invoice processing

  * Bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records

  * Assisting with budgets and forecasting

  * Liaising with surveyors, clients and external stakeholders

What They’re Looking For

  * Previous experience in a finance / accounts role (property experience is a plus, not essential)

  * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  * Good working knowledge of Excel

  * Confident communicator, comfortable working with different teams

  * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
