Looking for your next step in finance? We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager. It’s a hands-on role with loads of variety and plenty of room to learn.
Hours:
Mon–Thurs: 8.30am–5pm
Fri: 8.30am–3pm
What you’ll be doing:
* Purchase ledger & sales ledger
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Supporting with month-end tasks
* Weekly payroll
* Using Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll and Eque2
* A bit of HR admin thrown in (new starter forms, checks, etc.)
What they’re after:
* AAT Level 3 or 4 ideally
* AAT Level 2 will be considered if you bring something extra (construction experience or similar)
* Knowledge of CIS, reverse charge VAT or retentions is a big plus
* Construction background is preferred but not essential
* Someone happy working full-time in the office
Team:
* You’ll be working in a small, friendly finance function
