Accounts Assistant – Flexible 35-Hour Week | Nursling / Southampton | Hybrid Working
Are you an Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing aerospace company near Southampton? Our client is expanding their finance team and is looking for a finance professional to join on a permanent basis.
🕒 About the Role
  * Full-time (40 hours per week), but with 1-hour paid lunch, you only work 35 hours
  * Hybrid working available
  * Flexibility for school pick-ups or personal commitments

📊 Key Responsibilities
  * Manage Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Credit Control
  * Process invoices and handle queries efficiently
  * Support financial reporting and basic management accounts
  * Perform reconciliations and assist with debt collection
🧠 Skills & Experience
  * Experience as an Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar finance role
  * Strong Excel skills
  * QuickBooks experience is a bonus
  * Excellent verbal and written communication
  * Highly organised with strong attention to detail
