Job Description

Due to a positive restructure a successful company in East Yorkshire is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. You will be required to oversee sales & purchase ledger, reconciliations, banking, month end as well as helping the FC with management accounts. Applicants must possess varied accounts experience and be able to adapt to changing deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and a logical approach.

THE ROLE
Permanent position, full time hours, office based.
To work within a welcoming team overseeing transactional accounts including purchase and sales ledger, reconciliations, banking, month end and assist with management accounts (If experienced).   
Identify, investigate and resolve all account queries.
Modern office environment, friendly and supportive team.  

THE CANDIDATE
Must have varied knowledge including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, credit control and month end.
Able to remain calm, focused and accurate whilst striving towards deadlines.
Methodical approach whilst processing transactional accounts. 
Possess initiative, drive, enthusiasm and the ability to manage a varied workload.
AAT qualification (Or studying towards) would be beneficial but not essential.
