Job Description

Administrator Bury St Edmunds Competitive Salary Full-time   We are recruiting for an Administrator on behalf of our client, based in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team environment, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative processes. The position offers a varied workload, exposure to a fast-paced office setting, and the chance to build strong organisational and communication skills. It is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in delivering accurate work, and is keen to develop their career within a structured administrative role.   Key Responsibilities Support the onboarding and setup of new accounts and records Assist in preparing general reports, correspondence, and documentation Format, review, and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism Maintain well-organised filing systems and keep internal databases up to date Complete internal forms and prepare documentation for approval Process routine transactions in line with internal procedures and approval limits Respond to and help resolve day-to-day administrative queries Ensure records and system data are accurate, current, and compliant with internal standards Provide administrative support across the wider team during busy periods or absences Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency Assist with data entry, checking information for accuracy and completeness Support internal and external meetings by preparing documentation and materials as required   Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks Confident interpersonal skills and a professional approach High level of attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable using standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable   If you are interested in this position, please contact Scarlett or Janine on (phone number removed) or apply with a current CV to (url removed)
