About the Job
As an Apprenticeship Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing employer relationships, promoting apprenticeship and work-based learning solutions, and driving apprenticeship starts across Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, and Mansfield.
Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and managing employer partnerships across the East Midlands
*
Promoting apprenticeships and work-based learning programmes to meet employer needs
*
Delivering sales and engagement strategies to achieve apprenticeship start targets
*
Preparing tailored proposals, presentations, and contracts for employers
*
Attending employer meetings, networking events, and regional skills events
*
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and programme delivery
*
Providing market insights and supporting tender or bid development where required
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in apprenticeship sales, employer engagement, or work-based learning business development.
You will bring:

Proven success in achieving apprenticeship start or sales targets
*
Knowledge of apprenticeship funding, delivery models, and work-based learning programmes
*
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
*
Ability to develop and convert new business opportunities
*
Confidence working independently and managing regional priorities
*
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the East Midlands
*
