Job Description

Senior Architectural Technician - Surrey
 A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a residential developer supporting the delivery of high-quality housing schemes in the Surrey area. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the technical design process, working across projects from planning through to construction.

The business is known for delivering well-designed, sustainable developments and is seeking an experienced technologist who can produce detailed technical information, coordinate consultants, and support the wider team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities:
 * Producing working drawings and construction details in line with planning approvals
 * Coordinating technical information to ensure designs are buildable and cost-effective
 * Managing drawing issues in line with project programmes
 * Preparing and issuing drawing revisions and variation orders
 * Coordinating external consultants and reviewing their outputs
 * Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC requirements
 * Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders as required

This role would suit someone with a degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology (or equivalent experience) and strong experience in residential projects. Good technical knowledge, AutoCAD skills and the ability to manage workload and deadlines are essential.
