Area Sales Manager  North of England & Scotland £50,000-£60,000 Plus Comms, Laptop, Phone, and a company car   Own your territory, drive high-value technical sales, and turn engineering expertise into real earning power.       Are you an experienced technical sales professional with a strong background in machining or cutting tools? We are recruiting for a driven Area Sales Manager to oversee a high-potential territory across the North Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, high-tech organisation operating at the forefront of precision engineering solutions.   The Role You will take full ownership of your region, managing and developing relationships with key customers and distributors while driving new business growth. Your responsibilities will include: Selling complex, technical, advice-led products to high-value customers Managing and growing an existing customer base across the North Midlands Providing technical sales support via phone, email, and on-site visits Delivering product demonstrations, installations, and customer training Representing the business at exhibitions and industry events Identifying new opportunities and developing strategic sales plans Working independently to achieve and exceed sales targets This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across your territory, with the flexibility to manage your own schedule. What We're Looking For Technical background in engineering, machining, or manufacturing Strong knowledge of tool holding, milling, or cutting tool technologies Minimum 5 years' experience within the cutting tool or machine tool industry Proven track record in technical sales and territory management Confident communicator with strong customer-facing skills Self-motivated, organised, and commercially driven Willingness to travel extensively across the region What's on Offer Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) Performance-based commission structure Company car  Laptop and mobile phone Autonomy to manage your own territory Strong earning potential within a growing market If you're looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise with commercial success, we'd like to hear from you.
